For one night only on a street near you…

Over the last couple of weeks the building on the corner of Blackall St and Paul St has been in a tug of war between the local artists and the estate agents painting over any new works on the building with thick black paint as they finally attempt to sell it.

The stencil above appeared Monday evening but was promptly painted over by 9am the next morning. I just loved the simplicity of the single image on a large black space.

Update...

The stencil above was promptly painted over in black the next day...

Only to be replaced that evening by another... ('Paint it Blek'? I'd like to think it has something to do with Blek Le Rat but somehow doubt it.)

And of course this was then painted black again the next morning.
